We’d love you to join us for church. We’re here every Sunday from 10am and all are welcome!

Who are we?

We’re a church of all ages and stages, gathered by the good news of Jesus Christ. Like any family, we come with our quirks and our mess, but we seek to love each other regardless because we’ve been loved by God. In fact, that’s what we most have in common! We come together because we’re part of God’s eternal family, called and gathered to grow in faith together as followers of Jesus.

What do we believe?

We believe that in our crazy world, God’s word offers the best news. The Bible speaks of God’s son Jesus being made Lord of everything. That’s good news because he’s also the one who died in the place of sinners to offer rescue from sin and death.

If we’re honest, we all tend to be good at stuffing things up - especially with God. But Jesus came to restore our relationship with God, offering forgiveness by dying in our place. We might be more sinful than we dare believe, but the Bible tells us that when we meet Jesus we find we’re more loved than we ever dared hope. And because he also rose from death to life, we get to live with him as our Lord forever.

What’s our purpose?

Just as we’ve been called by God’s love in Jesus, we believe we’re also sent to serve God’s love to our world. The good news of God’s love is so great that we want to make it known, both through our words and our actions. We reckon it’d be wrong to keep it to ourselves, so we try to get out and serve our community here in Chinchilla to make it known and spread it around so that others might know God too. We’re made for it.

Sunday School and Teens Groups

If you’ve got kids who would like to join in on our Sunday school or teens group, bring them along before our Sunday gathering at 9am for teaching from the Bible.

Bible Studies

We currently have two Bible Studies meeting on a Wednesday. If you’d like to come along please get in touch with the details below.

PALs

Our “parents and littlies” playgroup meets on Wednesdays fortnightly through the school term from 9am-12. Check our Facebook page for when we’re on next.
